Durrance & Co, market leading physical security solutions provider, has a
range of aluminium doors, storefronts and entrances, which continue to go
from strength to strength, with further installation undertaken for the
prestigious Oxford Street branch of The Officers Club.
It was decided the shopfront should be replaced with a set of aluminium doors that would both reflect the professional look of the store and increase its security.
The original wooden doors at The Officers Club Oxford Street were beginning to deteriorate, requiring significant repairs, including new glazing and putty as well as repainting. Due to their poor condition, the old doors were also becoming a security risk for the stock held by the store.
The new storefront entrance consists of a 2 sets of bi-folding, to provide an open and welcoming store, and a single swing door that is used as access by staff. The aluminium shopfront was finished to The Officers Club colour specifications and now provides great visual appeal, as well as enhanced security for the store, out of hours.
The project was scheduled for work to be undertaken overnight, in order not to disrupt The Officers Club business trading activity. So from 6.30pm, when the doors closed, J Durrance were able to complete the works for the opening of business the following morning.
